| New product - Innobits Video Purifier
Tired of contaminations in your motion pictures?
Calm down, a powerful stand-alone product for de-contamination of videos is soon to be released. At IBC 2008 (September 12-16) Innobits will exhibit the new product Video Purifier, a product that removes contaminations, for example dithering artifacts, unwanted video noise and unpleasant signatures from filtering processing. Only noise that shouldn't be in the video is removed, which means that animated noise is not touched. Also, Innobits Video Purifier does not smear out the noise or put any new pixels into the video - it simply uses the pixels already present.

Innobits Video Purifier is a stand-alone software for you to use together with any other type of imaging/video editing software i.e. Final Cut Pro, Adobe products and more. It will be available for Mac and PC and can use all frame rates and sizes (SD, HD etc).
The powerful algorithm used in Innobits Video Purifier is the same as in Innobits MPEG2-encoder BitVice DVNC (Digital Video Noise Canceller), but Innobits has developed it further. The new stand-alone product will have more features than DVNC, for example:
- Interactivity with the user is better
- The user will have careful control of what is to be processed
- Execution is faster
Also, the range of application is broader, meaning that it can be used in and for different situations, i.e.:
- Removing contaminations before editing/cutting your video
- Removing contaminations after editing/cutting
- Restoration of motion pictures
Iron Maiden project a cornerstone for Video Purifier
In year 2006 Innobits helped Iron Maiden with their DVD Death on the road. The Iron Maiden project proved to be a cornerstone in the development of Innobits Video Purifier, because of the high quality demands of Iron Maidens Videographer Mr. Johnny Burke and Mr. Steve Harris, bandleader, bassist and video editor of Iron Maiden. They say: "We had tested almost every encoder on the market and found out that none came up to our standard for our live concert, when it comes to maintained image quality. Then we got Innobits encoder BitVice in our hands and were amazed at the result. All blue is blue, all red is red and the image is sharp as a razor and it dealt brilliantly with the smoke, speed and lighting of our show. When Innobits offered to help us with the encoding work, naturally we accepted at once".
The intimate work between Innobits and Mr. Johnny Burke gave Innobits new ideas of how to improve and develop BitVice and DVNC. The result of the development of DVNC is Innobits Video Purifier. (for more information about the Iron Maiden Project click here.)
Look out for the Demo version of Innobits Video Purifier, soon to be released!
