Who we are
Innobits is a young company founded 2001 in Sweden, but the ideas took form back in 1996 when the Innobits R&D team was engaged in MPEG matters for a different company in the broadcast industry.
Loaded with a lot of experience from the digital Audio and Video field, including several patented methods in this area, we decided to launch our old ideas and bring our knowledge to good use in a new company. That is how and why Innobits was put into shape.
Encouraged by the sub-optimal quality performance of some currently available MPEG2 Encoders, we just had to tap our own insights and abilities to produce an alternative for people who need to be rather particular about how they spend their precious bits. Our first in a series of bit-conserving and quality-enhancing tools is the BitVice MPEG2 Encoder.
Innobits is taking a pride in fascinating our customers with possibilities that are just around the corner and at the same time listening to your needs. We want to create a dialog with you on how you can make more efficient use of your resources, without compromising quality.
In our products, quality comes first. Speed of execution comes later. Our motto is: “If it isn’t done right in the first place, well then it’s not worth doing any faster either, is it?”
It does not matter how incredibly fast you can do something wrong, because speed alone can never improve a faulty algorithm. On the other hand, if a program is done right but the customers want it to execute faster, well then we are the experts of optimizing it for you as well.
We believe that Innobits is capable of making a lasting impression in the area of audio and video processing techniques, to the benefit of multimedia creators, consumers and distributors. That is why we initially are going to focus on audio and video encoding software of spectacular quality.
We want our software products to be positioned with a very aggressive pricing model, because we wish that everyone, from the wealthy professional to the poor amateur or student should have the opportunity to utilize our technology. We are kindly willing to make discounts for students and schools.
